How It All Started
Since its launch in 2017, The Insane Artist has been pushing the boundaries of storytelling through a fusion of literature, performance, and visual art. What began as a passion project has grown into a creative YouTube channel with over 27,000 subscribers and over 5 million views, where acting, spoken word, and cinematic imagery come together to explore expressive, narrative-driven art content.
Nearly 500 videos later, we continue to learn, evolve, and dare to push the envelope. Whether it’s playing with new forms, collaborating across disciplines, or stepping into unexpected themes, we are committed to giving our best creative voice.
Our Vision
At The Insane Artist, we believe that art is more than just entertainment — it’s a gateway to emotions, imagination, and deeper connection.
Every piece we create is an invitation: to feel, to reflect, to discover.
We aim to build a space where voices often unheard can be amplified, where creativity isn’t limited by genre, and where stories of all scales are honoured.
What We Do
Spoken Word & Performance: Using the power of words and presence, we explore intimate stories, reflections, and performances that resonate.
Visual Storytelling: We don’t just record — we craft scenes, moods, and atmospheres. Cinematic visuals are essential to how we express ourselves.
Literary Inspiration: Much of our work draws from literature — poems, essays, narrative themes — to give our art more depth and texture.
Diverse Content: From short films and narrative experiments to more personal pieces, each video carries a piece of us, no matter the scale or budget.
Why We Do It
Because stories matter.
Because performance moves people.
Because visuals can change how you see the world.
And because we believe there’s grace in the imperfect, power in authenticity, and beauty in the bold.
